Oscar for Best Original Song: Listen To All 5 Nominees (2018)

This year’s Oscar nominees for Best Original Song have something for everybody. The lineup includes two of the biggest singles of the year, “All the Stars” from Black Panther and “Shallow” from A Star Is Born, ballad “The Place Where Lost Things Go” from musical Mary Poppins Returns, an inspirational Diane Warren-penned song “I’ll Fight” from RBG, and country ditty “When a Cowboy Trades His Spurs for Wings” from The Ballad of Buster Scruggs.

Conventional wisdom is that “Shallow” will win this easily, but we’ve seen shocking upsets in this category before, as Lady Gaga herself will tell you from a few years ago. “Shallow” may be well out in front, but this is still a strong lineup.
