The British Independent Film Award nominations were announced Wednesday, and The Favourite has proven its title true for this award season. The Yorgos Lanthimos film leads all nominations with 13, including Best British Independent Film and individual nods for all three of its stars, Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz. The film is followed close behind by American Animals with 11 nominations and Beast at 10.
The British Independent Film Award Ceremony will take place on Sunday Dec. 2 at Old Billingsgate. Read the full list of nominees below.
