Emmy submissions for 2018 are gradually being announced by Gold Derby, in the comedy, drama and limited series/TV movie genres. Performers are required to submit one episode for consideration to Emmy voters, and while such submissions matter less now that there are no more blue ribbon panels, they do still provide some value in giving voters a sample of a performer’s best work.
Here’s how you can stream this year’s Emmy submissions in the limited series/TV movie and variety categories. Lead acting nominees do not have to submit episodes, while supporting performers are required to submit one episode. I have also included links for Limited Series, TV Movie, directing and writing. The Variety Special directing and writing categories will be presented on the main telecast, even though Variety Special (Live) and Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) are being presented at the Creative Arts Emmys, so I have included the former categories here.
